Hi everybody - you made it to the blog - good! I'd like to use this blog to communicate with each other about the class. Each day I will appoint a class secretary. When it is your turn, please take notes on what we do that day. Keep track of anything that was assigned or is due and anything else you think would be important. Imagine the absent student and think about what they would want to know. And remember, please keep all comments polite and professional.
thanks!
Anne

ReplyDeleteNotes from class on 8-26-10
ReplyDelete*Handed in our 6 characteristic wheels
*Filled out 10 index cards with a topic on one side and 3 questions on the other. So we can continue thinking about our upcoming research paper.
*Had to find 3 people with their highest traits where your lowest traits were and right down their names...phone numbers optional.
*Everyone should have taken home 1 index card. Over the weekend think about 1 more topic of interest and don't forget the 3 questions on the back. This is due next class perion on Tuesday.

Hi all, if you're looking ahead or find yourself with some extra time today, I am going to assign chapters 1 and 2 in Elements of Technical Writing - also, you might want to look up parts of speech and refresh yourself on nouns, verbs, prepositions, etc. etc. :) See you later,
